Magic Cookie Bars
What you need:
2 C cornflakes (crushed and crumbled)
3 T sugar
½ C butter, melted
1 ½ C semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ½ C flaked coconut
1 C chopped pecans or walnuts
1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
What you do:
Preheat oven to 350. In a medium mixing bowl, mix the corn flakes with sugar and melted butter. Scoop mixture into greased 13x9 inch glass baking dish and pat down with a spatula until flat, covering the entire bottom of the dish. Scatter chocolate chips evenly over crust, followed by coconut flakes and nuts. Pour condensed milk over layered mixture and bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Remove and let cool for at least half hour. Cut into square bars and enjoy.
